Located in the heart of Norfolk, VA, Kensington Community Civic League offers you and your family the opportunity to engage with other members from your community while taking part in sports, activities, and special events. Our community civic league also aims to develop and cultivate good values and skills that will lead to positive behavior in all our young members.

Kensington Community Civic League plays a major role in helping redevelop a growing and safer community for our children, furthering the best interest of this community in regards to neighborhood improvement, beautification, historical preservation, neighborhood friendly business development and safety and security for all.

Whatever your interests are, we cater to all ages in order to promote an educated, cultured and enriching community in Norfolk, VA. Whether you are looking for enriching activities for the children or want to take part in any of our social events — we provide an array of services that are sure to keep you busy all year long.

38TH STREET PARK
How about the Kensington Community Civic League adopting the park? If we keep it clean, the City will keep it managed and up-to-date. Also, we would like to change the name of the park. Submit your ideas below, via our contact box.
In addition, we're in the process of having crosswalks painted on the streets (37th & 38th) leading to and from the park.
NORFOLK SENIOR OLYMPICS
May 8 - May 11 @ ODU
The 34th Annual Norfolk Senior Olympics features events for seniors. Free for Norfolk residents, $5 a day for non residents. Events include bowling, bridge, croquet, track and field, volleyball, horseshoes, billiards, basketball, table tennis and more. Complementary lunch for all participants, but registration for events and for lunch required.
